Peasant farmland

Dego's first dungeon, the Peasant Farmland.

Dungeons are places where players can go in order to defeat monsters and progress through the game. There are 14 different dungeons in total, and there is a Normal Mode and Hard Mode.

Normal Mode[]

Normal Mode is already unlocked, and is where you first start in the game.

Hard Mode[]

Hard Mode is unlocked by clearing all 14 dungeons in Normal Mode. It is basically a harder version of the dungeons with new items to be found and new bonus content to clear.

Setup[]

Dungeons are usually set up with a beginning point, followed by numerous rooms which contain monsters that players must kill in order to gain access to other rooms. Most of the time, killing a set of monsters will spawn a new wave of them. The amount of monsters and the monsters' HP scale with how many players are in the party.

Loot[]

Monsters may drop various items when killed. After killing the final wave of monsters inside a room, treasure chests appear which contain items and sometimes may have nothing inside. The amount of treasure chests that appear scale with how many players are in the party, so it is often beneficial to have multiple characters playing at once. They are opened by hitting them with any attack. A quick way to open many of them at once is to use a special such as Triple Shot, Rain of Arrows, or Circle Spell. The following items can be looted:

  • Bread or meat, which immediately restores HP when walked over.
  • Gold in various amounts.
  • A random equipment item. The icon tells you which type of equipment will be looted.
  • Clothes, which gives the player a random appearance item.
  • A four-leaf clover.

Campfire[]

There is a one-time use campfire in each dungeon that allows players to rest and access the main menu. In a camp, players cannot access the shop or Unlock Shop, but they can still trade items and gold to each other and do everything else in the main menu. Players can also opt to leave or join the party, but by doing so will empty their SP. Once out of a camp, all players are fully healed and revived.

Objects[]

Several objects in the game may hinder or help the player's progress.

Hazards[]

Hazardous objects are present in every dungeon. However, these objects can be strategically used to kill monsters. For example, in Sprite Forest, there are fires that damage and cause Burn when touched, or giant flowers which spray a gas that causes Confusion. In Frost Glade, there are fiery wisps that randomly move around and damage monsters and players. In Goblin Mines, there are explosive barrels that, when attacked by a player, ignites the fuse and explodes to cause massive damage to monsters and players nearby.

Natural Structures[]

These objects are simply part of the dungeon's background. They prevent movement past them and block projectiles. Enemies that utilize close combat will be unable to get through when a player is behind one of these, and the player can use a Spear or range or magic weapon to attack through the object when they are in the right position.

Buttons[]

Players may encounter pushable buttons in the game. These usually open a previously locked room but can have other effects.

  • The green button can simply be stepped on to push. Most of the time, only a single green button needs to be pushed to trigger the event, but some dungeons may have multiple scattered throughout the dungeon, which in this case, all of them will need to be pushed to trigger the event.
  • The red button can be stepped on to push, but it will become unpushed when whatever is pushing it leaves. They always come in a group of two or more, and all of them will need to be pushed at the same time to trigger the event behind them. If there are an insufficient amount of players needed to push all the red buttons, players may use monsters in their place.
  • The yellow button cannot be pushed by stepping on it. Players will need to find a boulder and push it onto the yellow button. Yellow buttons become unpushed when the boulder is no longer on top of them.

Portals and hidden entrances[]

Portals in the shape of a hexagram can appear in dungeons. There are also holes in the ground or the wall that appear to be a part of the dungeon's background.

  • Green portals and holes take players into a hidden room. The room may contain monsters, treasure chests, or both.
  • Red portals take players to the boss room.
  • Blue portals end the dungeon session. In order to count a dungeon as cleared, all players that are alive must enter it.

Barrel[]

Once interacted with using the A button, the barrel summons a random item similar to the Paladin's Level 2 skill.

NPCs[]

There are several NPCs found throughout the game. Some may give you a side quest to complete for unique rewards. Others may simply give you information about the game's story. A few may even join you as an ally for a small price or sell you a random item.
