Play Notes from Province, a new game made by the same developer of Dego
Happy Halloween everyone! A new game called "Notes from Province" is out now! It's made by the same developer who created Dego, so why not check it out? You can download and support the game on RMN, Steam and itch.io.
And if you get stuck on something in that game, check out the spoiler-heavy walkthrough I've made for it.
My thoughts about the game
Today, I felt like sharing my thoughts about Dego and why I made this wiki.
So, why would I create a wiki for an indie game that almost no one has even heard of? Let's rewind back to around 2009-2010. I somewhat recall being on the hunt for good free games to play and happened to stumble upon rpgmaker.net. I think that was also around the time the RPG Maker series was much more popular than it is now. RMN has a huge library of free games to play. I just had to find the hidden gems among them. Many amateur-made games later, I ran into Dego. Honestly, when you look at its RMN page, it's not all that impressive, is it? The nearly non-existent story, screenshots showing you the graphics are VX RTP...which I actually don't mind, by the way. I li…
Contribution Guidelines
If you're interested in contributing to this wiki but are not quite sure how, these guidelines should help you understand how Fandom's editor works and help ensure less mistakes are made for a smoother workflow.
Fandom comes with a visual editor that makes editing wikis very easy for new contributors. If you've used some kind of Word document program before, you should have no problems using this editor. Previewing your changes is also easy because what you see in the visual editor is what you will see on the actual pages if the edits you have made are published. I've highlighted some key areas in the image to the right.

Dego RPG Wiki Checklist
This post will outline my plans for this wiki's completion. This is more just a list to help remind myself what needs to be done, since I'm still the sole editor for this wiki, but I'll post it here just in case that in some very miraculous chance someone else decides to help out.
Create the pages for dungeons that don't have them. I don't remember what made me stop halfway, but just creating the pages with the basic information already requires me to go back into the game, remember everything about the dungeons by playing through them repeatedly (on both Normal and Hard), and take some screenshots. As I've said in my previous post, I currently don't have the time for this and won't for at least the near future, if not longer.(Update: Crea…
Yeah, this wiki still exists
I only just remembered this myself. I was going through the files on my computer one day when I stumbled upon the game again. I decided to play it again with my sister, who is a total Dego fan. This little game is still as fun as I remembered it being, even after a decade of its release.
I noticed this wiki is very far from done. Perhaps one day, I'll complete it myself, as I really do like writing. However, I lack time nowadays, so who knows if this wiki will ever see completion. Time will tell, I suppose.
